ABOUT ME

My intention as a therapist is to help you create meaningful change, including increasing self-compassion, self-confidence, achieving your personal goals and a greater sense of wellbeing. I strive to understand where you are at and where you would like to get to by supporting you to feel safe in embracing change.

I consider myself a forever student. I continue to build upon my academic knowledge in all things psychologically related and stay in tune with my passion for self-compassion, spiritual alignment and mindfulness practices.

My academic background:

  • Diploma in Psychotherapeutic Counselling (2020)

  • Leadership in Mindfulness certificate (2015)

  • Master’s degree in Forensic Mental Health (2013)

  • Postgraduate diploma in Psychology (2012)

  • Undergraduate degree in Psychology and Criminology (2011)

My therapeutic experience includes working with young people in school settings, domestic abuse, prisons, those troubled by alcohol or substance misuse, families and couples experiencing complex emotional dynamics and individuals experiencing depression and anxiety.

In parallel to my work, my passion for children’s wellbeing has contributed to my voluntary commitment as a trustee for 5 years at Ditch the Label charity and to founding my own charity, Kulira, which works to support children in Uganda.

Therapy and coaching can support that leap of faith. We can work towards you feeling safe to expand beyond what you know. When you are ready you can call me on 07908733924 or if you prefer, you can email me. I offer a non-chargeable telephone consultation. We can discuss your needs and this offers you a chance to see if we are the right fit for your journey ahead.
